Street selecting

mobyMAP enables you to "select" a street, using the built-in cursor, to find out the name of a particular street or road.

Find a street

If you want to find a particular street on the map, this is possible in 3 very easy steps using the menu.

  • mobyMAP can provide you with a list of all the street on a map
  • mobyMAP can provide you with a selective list of streets (only the streets that begin with a particular letter of phrase)
  • when you pick a street from the list, it is selected and the screen is centered to show you that particular street

Find the nearest

  • you can find the nearest point of interest (gas station, hospital, night club) using a very simple and intuitive menu system
  • a "guiding line" is shown that leads us to the nearest point of interest

All the information about a map is available through the menu system:

  • map name
  • description, additional information
  • map dimensions (map width, map height)
  • total number of objects
  • map size (in bytes)
